Can anyone suggest some neat style of listing for technical report presenting source code snippets ? What kind of frames, and so on.

I recently started using the listings package:

It is language "aware" and can, optionally, highlight keywords in
different languages (C++, Python and so on).
There are many options for frames around the code, different fonts.
Personally, I've been displaying the code snippets with a gray background,
and no frame around it.
