TeXniCcenter and keybord accent commands
I'm French and, although my documents are mainly written in english, I sometimes need to write some stuff in Franch. Therefore, there are many accents in French and Windows allows to write accented characters with Alt+... commands (for example: Alt+130 produces é). Is it possible to activate these keybord features within TeXniCcenter ?
Thanks

TeXniCcenter and keybord accent commands
Sorry, if I remember right this is a problem with the used editor within TexnicCenter
- so the editor of TexnicCenter is not able to use ALT + number codes...
I think the best solution is to temporarily switch to the french-keyboard-layout
(Start => Settings => Region and Language Options => Textinput Options) - if
You set up it along with Your international layout, You can switch it in the taskbar
in realtime without restarting the system:
in TexnicCenter:
writing in english => switch keyboard layout in taskbar to french
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AZERTY
=> writing your french texts => switch back to international layout

Re: TeXniCcenter and keybord accent commands
thanks for answering; however I didn't manage with the `'` + e in your first message, and I forgot to mention that I'm working in an English environment and I'm using a QWERTY keyboard... in most of the softwares and text editors, I have no problems to use the keyboard commands for accents, it's just TeXnicCenter that does not allow it...

keyboard (by changing/installing the french textinput option in Windows XP) ?
This works - even if You don't have an AZERTY keyboard attached to Your computer!
