Too bad gummi isn't listed, since right now I'm mainly trying to decide between gummi, TeXworks and the gedit plugin. Perhaps that's because gummi is so early in development, and perhaps doesn't count as having a "latest stable version". So far however, I haven't see any other source editor with a live updating preview.
