How to write circled power?

Dear friends,

I want to write power of a number surrounded by a circle.
For instance $3^{2}$ but the power $2$ should be in a circle as in the following figure.

Hi,

several alternatives have already been proposed in other threads. Have you used the "Search" functionality of the board?

Searching for "circle" will quickly give you, at least, this results:

1 inside a circle.

circle around letters.
1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144,233,...
