Annoying problem with project files

Post by Montag »

Hello,
whenever I work on a project in TXC, and the filenames are longer than the width of the Navigator window and I double-click on such a file with a too-long-filename... the filename is displayed in a yellow box.

The catch is: After I double-clicked the file, the box doesn't go away until I hover over another filename.

Why is that? :(

(no, it's not a feature)

Actually, it is a feature. This is the same way Windows Explorer displays hovered tree view items if they are partially visible. In this case a tool tip will be shown which eliminates the need to resize the navigator or scroll its contents.

So, why is this a problem?

The problem is resolved in Version 2.0 Alpha 1.

Showing the complete filename isn't the problem.
It's that the showing of the complete filename doesn't go away... this box, or tool tip, if that is its correct name?
