y-axis cut and compression

Post by Alrik »

Dear Community,

I've now been struggling with this problem for hours on end...I'd like to create a figure with PSTricks, but using a special y-axis. As this would take too long to explain, a figure showing how I'd like it to be at the end is attached. If anyone could help me that'd be great.

Best wishes,

Alrik

There is an example of a split axis in the example gallery (right before section »Trigonometric labels«) [1]. The pgfplots package (based on pgf/tikZ) allows this to do very easy.
