Hi,
I am using TexnicCenter on Windows 7. If I try to save a file multiple times with short time between save, the TexnicCenter DELETES my file. The "save file" dialog then appears as if I was trying to save a completly new file. It seems like if I try to save a file while the file is already beeing saved, then TexnicCenter deletes it. Of course, I cannot save without any changes, but sometimes I save and change a word and then save again (using Ctrl+S) which triggers this behaviour. I am afraid that I may be unlucky enough to loose the file for good, both from disc and editor, and was hoping that this is a known issue with a solution...

Re: Texniccenter deletes file when saving
This could be a clash between TeXnicCenter (TXC) and Windows 7. TXC in its current version has not been developed for this operating system. There might be incompatibilities.
