Hey all, i couldt find my old account so registerd a new one

I reinstalled windows xp today, so had to reinstall miktex and texnixcenter also.

now while trying to process my backupped project i get this:

Please replace the attached image of the TeXnicCenter (TXC) "Output" window with the complete log file which is more helpful. Moreover you have to provide a minimal working example (MWE) that shows this misbehaviour.

Supplement:
There is a message from TXC that shows an issue which is explained and resolved on the MiKTeX 2.8 Issues page.

GUI framework cannot be initialized.

See the l2tabu document for the reason why not to use a4wide and take a look at the alternatives.

Where to find a log in texnixcenter ?

If your document's name is (for example) myfile.tex, then the file
myfile.log lies in the same folder that contains myfile.tex;
you can either serach for that file or open it from TeXnicCenter and then attach it here.

The log file is produced by the compiler and can be found in the same directory as your source. But it isn't needed anymore. Refer to the page of MiKTeX I linked in my previous reply.
