Code folding
This is the feature I miss the most in TXC. Does someone know if it would be hard to implement?

Yes, I miss it too. That's why I now use LED (LaTeX EDitor). It does projects, has code folding and more customizable syntax highlighting. But there are some things about TeXnicCenter I like better, like how it handles templates, build options, etc. TeXnicCenter with customizable syntax highlighting and code folding would be awesome (along with high-res icons if I may!).

I completey agree. I'm also of the opinions that the only 2 things missing from TexnicCenter are code folding (in LEd style) and syntax highlighting (in WinEdt style). This would be the perfect LaTeX editor¨I hope these suggestions will be implemented in 2.0

Code folding
Would it also be possible to make code folding optional?
I.e.: would it be possible to turn code folding ON/OFF using a checkbox or so in the settings-dialogbox?
The reason is that I am actually use(d) to use the click in the margin (it I may call it that) to select one or more lines. This is a habit, which I rather like, but now in the ALPHA-release it results in an unexpected fold of the code block...
Of course, I understand why people like this feature and respect the many hours devs have put into it, so I would like to propose making it optional (with the default being folding).
