Enthusiastic n00b

Post by choward »

Hi. I recently discovered LaTeX + BibTeX under Gentoo Linux and am enthusiastic about it. I am trying to write several books on philosophy and theology.

I think I understand the very basics of LaTeX + BibTex. However, I have lots of questions about formatting and symbols and such like. I hope this is the right place to find answers. (If it isn't, please let me know right away.)

The only editors I use are Texmaker and Emacs.

At first I was tempted to say that you are not in the right place just to confuse you a little bit. But at the latest when browsing the forum you would have found out the opposite. We are looking forward to your questions.

Best regards and welcome to the board
