Can't force a line break

Post by MarcAurel »

I want to include an address in the front matter of a book I am currently finishing. However, there seems to be no way to set the line spacing to anything but the default value. The default I chose for the book is 1.5 line spacing. When I select the address -- via "Edit/Paragraph Settings..." -- and try to apply "single spacing" it doesn't work.

I have also tried inserting "evil red text", using the command "/newline" but this yielded errors when generating the pdf.

Can anyone help me?

Thank you very much!

How funny... Seconds after posting I had another look at the menu and found: "Insert/Formatting/Ragged Line Break".

This solves my problem.
