Create own LaTeX package when on Mac

Post by zimbabelka »

I have just gotten my new Macbook and installed TeXShop. I had previously been using Windows with WinEdt.

I want to create a package. In Windows, one simply puts the .sty file into the latex folder on the drive where MikTex is installed.

As most know, Mac is radically different and I have not yet gotten very familiar with how it works.

Could someone assist with how to create my own LaTeX package when using Mac with TeXShop on it?

Thank you very much.

It should be the same. You can insert any .sty files into the same folder as the .tex file.
