I want to make a table with figures and small tables inside. I started with a picture and then a table next to it. The problem is that the picture is slightly higher than the table...
Code: Select all
Code, edit and compile here:
\documentclass{article}\usepackage{graphicx}\begin{document}\begin{table}\begin{tabular}{lr}\includegraphics[width=6cm]{picture.JPG}&\begin{tabular}{|ll|}\multicolumn{2}{|c|}{\textbf{Chile}} \\\hlineGeography & ... \\Population & ... \\Industry & ... \\Energy & .... \\\end{tabular}\end{tabular}\end{table}\end{document}
Code: Select all
Code, edit and compile here:
\documentclass{article}\usepackage{graphicx}\begin{document}\begin{table}[ht]\begin{minipage}[b]{0.5\linewidth}\centering\includegraphics[width=6cm]{picture.JPG}\end{minipage}\hspace{0.5cm}\begin{minipage}[b]{0.5\linewidth}\centering\begin{tabular}{|ll|}\multicolumn{2}{|c|}{\textbf{Chile}} \\\hlineGeography & ...... \\Population & ..... \\Industry & ..... \\Energy & ..... \\\end{tabular}\end{minipage}\end{table}\end{document}
Would be very grateful for a solution!
Thanks so much!
Cheers,
Emma
