Hi all,

I noticed something odd. I compile with WinEdt on two different machines that are both relatively new, powerful und running on Vista. The strange thing is, WinEdt compiles more slowly than under XP on a much slower laptop. Do you know if WinEdt has particular problems with Vista? Could you think of reasons why it compiles so slowly?

You should be aware of the fact that it is not WinEdt which compiles but your LaTeX system. Changing this system may bring some improvements.
