Text Formatting ⇒ How would I do this using LaTeX?

My CV is typewritten in Microsoft Word, but I'd like to transition it to LaTeX. This is for two reasons: (1) The text is rendered more beautifully in LaTeX, and (2) I'm getting tired of always having to make small changes to the original file when I need to add in a publication or whatever. Having to edit the tex file would be a lot easier.

I've attached an image of my current CV below.

Unfortunately, I'm at a loss of how I would be able to duplicate the template in LaTeX. It involves shifting between 1, 2, and 3 columns of varying width. It's not something that's hard to do in Word, but my knowledge of customizing tex documents is pretty minimal.

Can someone help me get started?
