Kile ⇒ User help document
User help document
I added a guide to the help, modifying the configuration, but when I open the new pdf-document it is opened by Gimp and not by a pdf reader (evince or acroread).
Do you know why?
I'm using Ubuntu.
Thank you very much,
Nino

User help document
Does any of that help?
Re: User help document
Sorry: I didn't mention the editor I use, because of the subject of this subsection, i.e. Kile.
My PDF are usually opened by Acroread and I set Kile so that the command ViewPDF and all the others relaying on it open PDF by Evince. But the my guide is opened by GIMP!

Re: User help document

Hmm, weird. And it's only that one file that's being opened by the Gimp? You have actually tried opening PDFs created in other Kile projects and they open ok in Evince? And it's definitely a PDF file you're creating? Well, I have to admit that I'm stumped! I'm sorry I can't be of any real help, other than to suggest double-checking all the settings. If you look at all the other settings, like PSView and everything, are any of those set to use the Gimp? What happens if you start Evince and open your PDF file from there?
