Subfigures Refernecing Problems

Post by renno »

Hi all,

I am using \autoref of "hyperref" for referencing. I am also using the "subfigure" package. Everything goes fine with \autoref, except when I am referencing a subfigure. In this case, the later figure counter is typed, however, when clicking on it, it points to the correct graphic and the captioning is also correct...

Example: I want to refence "Figure 1(a)", so if I \autoref with the subfigure label, I would get "Figure 2(a)" instead of "Figure 1(a)". When I click on this hyperlink, it points me to "Figure 1(a)." Moreover, I want to reference "Figure 1", there is no problem, and \autoref works just fine...

I would appreciate any help...

Maybe a change to the subfig package will do. The subfigure package is considered outdated.

Thank you very much...

Using "subfig" solved the problem and everything is correctly referenced now...
