Additional ligatures etc.
I use the font Linux Libertine in LaTeX. I would like to know whether LaTeX can handle the OpenType features of this font, like additional (discreationary) ligatures (e.g. ft and Qu), contextual ligatures, oldstyle figures etc. I do not mean that I have to type \Qu to display a Qu ligature, though this is the best solution I've came up with. Instead of that, I would like LaTeX to automatically typeset this ligature when I type a word in which it is contained, just like for fi, fl etc. (And, if possible, the same for other OpenType features.) If this is not possible, can you at least make LaTeX search & replace a specific string at typesetting tine? For example you would state in your document that every occurrence of Qu is to be replaced with a specific character (this is rather inconsistent because if you change the font of your document, you will also have to find the new ligature characters) and LaTeX would simply replace them before typesetting the document.
Thanks.
