Document Classes ⇒ Presentation
Presentation
I am a relatively new user of latex. I use MikTex and TexMaker. I have been using the "book" document class. I am interested in making power point presentations like MS Office PPTs. I googled and found some "beamer", "prosper" document classes, however, I did not get what the issues were and how to handle them. Can someone suggest me any document class, related package and a user manual to make presentations using LaTex? My presentation have lots of mathematical expressions, this might decide which package to be used.
Thank you in advance. Regards,
Omkar

The prosper class (and the bug-fixing HA-prosper package) is obsolete and replaced by the powerdot class. The beamer class is also very good for presentations. If you want to get quick results, us the first one. For more precious looking presentations, use the second one. Both come with very good manuals.omkardpd wrote:[…] I googled and found some "beamer", "prosper" document classes, however, I did not get what the issues were and how to handle them. The class you will use does not really depend on the contents of your presentation. It's more a matter of personal taste.omkardpd wrote:[…] My presentation have lots of mathematical expressions, this might decide which package to be used. […]
