I was writing my thesis with latex and just some hours ago while i was trying to figure out a solution to a "tables" problem, i fall on this wonderful forum and i was very happy that firstly, i managed to solve my problem and lastly, that i discovered such an organized community based on Latex users!!
I was very happy, because now i feel that i can share knowledge, information and enthusiasm about such a wonderful "tool" that makes our lives more beautiful - since it can make our docs look beautiful
!!Ok, i have to say that i found out latex some months ago when i decided to begin to write my m.sc thesis in economics. Since then, i became enthusiast about latex, basically for two reasons: 1. It lets you concentrate on your thoughts and writing and 2. it produces harmonically balanced documents, aesthetically speaking.
Some petty details: I work on a ubuntu 8.04 linux pc and produce my documents using Kile 2.0.
