Hi -
I have downloaded texmaker from softpedia on my Windows vista machine. When I want to build a .tex file it says:
'could not start command'.
Can anyone help please?

Problem building file
Make sure that you have at least MiKTeX 2.7 installed. Recommendable additions are Ghostscript and a PDF viewer (mostly Adobe Reader).

Many thanks - I did download and install Miktex 2.7, this time on my XP machine (avoiding Vista) - but it still doesn't work!
My config settings seem to be alright. The .tex file is in my Documents folder on the C:\ drive, while the texmaker and miktex are loaded in the Program folder on the same drive.
Can you please advise -
