Decimal symbol using siunitx

Post by latexforever »

Hello everybody,

As I'm using

Code: Select all

\usepackage[allowzeroexp=true,obeymode=true,redefsymbols,textcelsius,textdegree,textminute,textmu,load={abbr,addn},decimalsymbol=,]{siunitx}
in my preamble, when I type, in the document:

Code: Select all

\boxed{\mu_{0}=4\pi K_{M}=\SI{12,57e-7}{N.A^{-2}}}
, the displayed value is 1257. Why?

Thanks!

Decimal symbol using siunitx

This can't work because the comma is the separator for the different key values in the option list. Hence the decimal symbol has to be given in another way.

Code: Select all

decimalsymbol=comma
Should be described in the siunitx manual.

Sorry, I didn't notice this subtility.

Thanks, localghost.

You can always wrap stuff in braces (generally for a keyval list), so

decimalsign={,}

should also work.
