General ⇒ Bilbography problem

Hi

Im not using bibtex but i get the error


i am skipping whatever remains of this command
whitespace in arguement
:\citation{lab script}

but i sorted that out

and

i found no \bibdata
i found no \bibstyle

and this seems to leave my appendix in italics from reference 7 onwards, but, check this out, that reference is......\cite{labscript}



whats going on?
