Compilation problem with Kile

Post by simeon.mattes »

Hi everybody,

I installed yesterday morning openSuse 11.1, just for a change, and I started playing with the new features and programs that it offers. Because I also use LaTeX and since the only satisfiable LaTeX IDE in Linux is this of Kile, I installed also this. I started compiling the texts on which I used to work and everything seemed fine. I was also happy because in openSuse 11.1 the problem with reading and writing in NTFS format was seemed to had been solved and so everything saved in NTFS could also be used directly from Kile.

Suddenly yesterday late evening I tried to compile a new next I wrote and the compilation seems to get stuck. The problem is that it doesn't give any errors. It's just get stuck.

Any ideas?

Hi simeon,

welcome to the board!
If you would post the example that's not compilable we could test it if it's compilable at all, not just by Kile, or test it with our Kile version.
