Introducing myself

Post by jannetta »

Hi Folks!

I'm really glad to have discovered this forum. Since the beginning of the year I have been stubbornly struggling to use LaTeX for my dissertation. With the Open University in England still plodding along in the dark ages, not having discovered anything other than Uncle Bill's M$ Word, I have really found it difficult to structure my document the way I need to. I don't know why I haven't found these forums before because then, I'm sure, you would have been quite tired of me and my questions by now. As usual, off course, time is running out and I'm desperately trying to solve the problems in the couple of months I have left.

Jannetta

As long as you've got months left to finish your work this seems not to be urgent. Some people start with LaTeX today and want problems to be solved in some days.

Best regards and welcome to the board
