Hi,
because i really hate making tables in latex i make them in word. I export the .docx (word 2007) to pdf using
the pdf export addin:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en
I then include the pdf as a graphic in a table environment using the grahpicx package. Everything goes well except for the typesetting.
There is a small variation in spaces between letters which does looks kinda ugly. Its absolutely readable but if pay attention you can see that the some letters are placed a bit to much to the left or right in a word.
I use the fourier font in latex, and the ariel font for tables made in word 2007. operating system is windows.
I would really like to fix this but i don't know what the problem actually is. Could it be the use of truetype fonts by windows?

What do you compile to? And does the weird spacing also occur when you print the compiled document?
Sometimes, at least PDF-viewers, show letters with a little funny spacing, but it doesn't look like that when you print the document.
