Document Classescannot view image

Hello,
im a latex newbie...and have an assignment in latex due tommorow.
i have inserted graphics in eps format into my latex.
the latex is compiling correctly.
i can view it using the built in dvi viewer.
however the problem is that where there should be images there are just empty spaces.
and for some of the places where there is images there is nothing..not even a space.

any help is appreciated.

im using mitek and Tekmaker as the editor.running on vista os.

If the output is not like expected, something is going wrong even if there is no error. But there should be warnings in the log file. Attach a minimal working example (MWE) and the according log file to your next post. Note that the MWE has to reproduce the effect. Add one of the affected graphics files if necessary. You can put all the files into one ZIP archive and upload it here as attachment.
