hi, could anybody recommend a practical software for editing the graphs in eps form

Hi,

to edit images I use the GIMP.
1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144,233,...

Tell us what you want to do. Perhaps there are some LaTeX methods.

gmedina,

even for vector graphics, you use the gimp? No love for inkscape?

In any case, spiegboy, as localghost implied, you need to give more information! If your budget is not a factor, I would highly recommend using Adobe Illustrator. I found its handling of .eps much better than what I could do with inkscape or gimp. But, I do admit, that I am not too skilled with inkscape or gimp. Nonetheless, eps support is still a work in progress (although it does exist), in my opinion, for linux apps.
