localghost's solution worked! If I remove the trim it stops working again, so on the problematic files I will use the trim Thank you!

One of the main reasons I have been using .eps is that I use the LeD editor and I find the "viewer" function very helpful, which I do not think works with .pdf/.jpg

Never-the-less I am willing to sacrifice that so do you know any good converters from .eps to pdf and .jpg? Or should I just convert my .eps pictures to something else and keep the "viewer" function?

Do you know any fast bulk converters? I am talking 100s of pictures ... and diagrams!
