Text Formatting ⇒ Latex Bibliography Placement Issue (MikTex+TexMaker)

Hi All,

After a new/fresh installation of MikTex and TexMaker, I am having a strange issue in the placement of my Bibliography section. For instance, my main document looks like below:

And after compiling the document, the while Bibliography section comes on top of the document instead of the bottom and the section just looks like gibberish as explained here:

Has anybody run into a similar issue ? What might be going wrong in my document ? In this fresh installation, the only new thing I did at the beginning was re-installing cm-user package to fix an error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
