limit the number of figures
Is there a limit to the number of figures in the latex book format? I have set the numbering of figures according to chapters in a book format file. After a few chapters, the numbering order will change by itself and it will be numbered as section!? please guide me.

welcome to the forum!
There's a limit, you could take a look here: Too many unprocessed floats, especially if you get such an error message.
If it's a different issue, such as only regarding the numbering which can be caused by document settings, perhaps explain in more detail what happens.

My Book has about 300 floating objects. how could I solve this problem?
Which packages should be added in the preamble? What commands should I add in the body text?

Hi Davood,
the FAQ in my previous above explained several possibilities to handle issues with too many figures.
Again, explain in detail what happens. Do you get an error message? Do you have a screenshot of what happens? Does it occur at a specific place, and what code is there?
