Math & Science ⇒ Prescript problem accompaning Bolding in Appendix

In writing Latex in Pramana J of Phys, there is no problem for prescript whenever I use \usepackage{amsmath,mathtools}. According to the journal format, we have to use the comments, \appendix, \section{Appendix A}, \section{Appendix B}, or something like that in the appendix part. The problem is that starting from Appendix, all sentences become bolded. If we remove the "\usepackage{amsmath,mathtools}", those sentences become normal(not bold), but the prescript is not working. How can I solve the problem?

I have found the solution. By avoiding "\prescript" word, it can be easily done. For example, by typing like {^{2D}_G}{[C_v]_e}, there is no bolding in Ref and Appendix, rather than \prescript{^{2D}_G}{[C_v]_e}.
