Convert to word
It's great that you write in LaTeX! It's sad that your advisor asks for Word. It's like requiring an MS Paint document instead of sophisticated Vector Graphics.
How about this: You could suggest you give him or her the PDF document, and he or she can make annotations with a PDF reader (such as the Adobe Acrobat Reader). Or a print for writing manually on it. In favor of a final great LaTeX document. He or she may like your enthusiasm about it.
Otherwise, a conversion may be possible, such as exporting to HTML (with tex4ht) and importing into Word, but that may be difficult and not produce a great "native" Word result.
