hello, am Felix,
Am currently working on my final year thesis, my problems are that in the declaration part and approval they both don't have a signing place. I would like to add the name of the person who is supposed to sign and a signing place and date both appearing horizontal ( say on one line i.e signature and Date). The names should appear on top of the signatory place. Your help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

welcome to the forum!
Perhaps show a small compilable document here with your declaration and approval part, including the preamble, so it's like your final document. Of course, you can replace your original text by dummy placeholder text. Or if you use a particular thesis template, you may post it here as attachment, or a link to it.
