Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible in lyx to bypass the chapter text requirement. When i click on chapter, it always ask me for a chapter title ... if i don't give it to Lyx, it cancel the chapter and it disapears.

What document class do you use (LyX -> Document -> Settings -> Document Class) and what kind of text do you want to write? Book classes usually require a chapter, article classes not.
