Mathics could use some help with its LaTeX documentation

Post by rocky »

Mathics is an open-source implementation of the Wolfram Language. Its printed documentation is done via LaTeX.

The LaTeX setup and style could sure use some love - lots of overfull boxes, and console output and error messages that look ugly. Two column formatting in various sections was probably a bad idea.

We would love to have a volunteer to go over everything and improve our LaTeX doc. And if there is an asymptote person around that could use some love too.

You can find the Latest PDF at https://mathics.org/docs/mathics-latest.pdf. This doc will change sometime around Aug 1 for a 5.0.0 release. The homepage for mathics is https://mathics.org
