Remove name and title from Abstract page

Post by veronicacucuiat »

Hi, I can't seem to find an obvious way of removing the author name and thesis title from the Abstract page, any ideas on how I'd go about doing that? I'd like the Abstract to only have the abstract text in it.

Recommended reading 2024:

NEW: TikZ book now 40% off at Amazon.com for a short time.

And: Currently, Packt sells ebooks for $4.99 each if you buy 5 of their over 1000 ebooks. If you choose only a single one, $9.99. How about combining 3 LaTeX books with Python, gnuplot, mathplotlib, Matlab, ChatGPT or other AI books? Epub and PDF. Bundle (3 books, add more for higher discount): https://packt.link/MDH5p

Thank you! And thanks for the reply.

It's the Masters / Doctoral Thesis template, available here: http://www.latextemplates.com/template/ ... ral-thesis

I've been playing around and still haven't found a way of doing it, but removing the thesis title & author name would be great because it's not required by the University, and as it stands it pushing the Abstract text onto two pages. And without the title & author it would keep it on one page, which would be ideal!!

Thank you!
