On Wednesday my computer crashed. And since then I can't open any latex file. Including those that you were not using at the time the computer crashed. Here is what it says when I try to open a latex file:

I can't open any latex file
Have you ascertained that the file in question is where your system looks for it? You could use your file browser or just the good old ls command for that.
BTW:
/run/media/<usr>/<dev>/
sounds like a Linux-specific mount point for external devices such as USB pendrives or hard disks, perhaps your device is not even mounted.
The file extension .tex.swp looks strange to me, but then I'm not a gummi (rubber) user.

I can't open any latex file
I run the files from their location. That is, I double click on them.
I also ran it with texmaker, and there would be none. I just re-run the latex files with texmaker and it was able to open them. So I tried it with gummi, surprise! opened all of them except the one I'm working on. But texmaker does open it, so I'll have to work with texmaker
I forgot something, try to delete the files from which gummi does not run, and Fedora does not allow them to be deleted, it indicates that they are readable.
