Getting First Page of TOC to Display Righthand

Post by Chaz »

I'm typesetting a book in LaTex. I'm actually using the report class and have parametrized [twoside, rightside] so that I can have "lefthand" and "righthand" pages. By default, the first page of the TOC is lefthanded, but I want it to be righthanded. Any suggestions for how to get it to be righthanded?

Getting First Page of TOC to Display Righthand

I don't know option rightside, but report does support an option openright to start every chapter on a right hand side if option twoside is also used. The ToC usually is a chapter. However, I would recommend to use class book to typeset a book. With book, options twoside and openright are the default.

If this does not help, please show a Infominimal working example of your problem, so we would be able to reproduce it.
