HOWTO pax or newpax (or: pdfpages with working hyperlinks?)

Post by Stef Pillaert »

Hello
Is it possible to use the package pax (or newpax) within LyX? Anyone a MWE?
Why I want this? I have a lot of powerpoints with hyperlinks in them. I want to insert them into one big LyX file, and the hyperlinks should still function.
I can convert the ppt's to pdf, and the links still function in those pdf's. But as soon as I insert those pdf's (using pdfpages via Insert->File->ExternalMaterial->pdfpages), the links in those pdfs don't function anymore.
I read somewhere about pax (or newpax), but I don't manage to get it operational from within LyX.

Any ideas/suggestions/...? Another workaround, maybe?

Thanks,
Stef

HOWTO pax or newpax (or: pdfpages with working hyperlinks?)

I'm trying to implement what I see here (https://mirror.lyrahosting.com/CTAN/mac ... newpax.pdf), but my LyX/LaTeX skills aren't sufficient
If someone has suggestions on a workflow for implementing this "newpax" in Lyx, this would be appreciated a lot. Or is what I'm trying just impossbile?
Thanks,
Stef
