General ⇒ jabref notes/abstracts in bibliography

Hi!
I am using havard for my referencing but somehow I end up having my notes and abstracts from Jabref being printed in the bibliography as well. I checked with a different setting (astron) - same problem. How can I get rid off this addition, so that the bibliography contains only:
names (date). title. journal. volume;issue:pages

I am having the same problem so I'd like to BUMP this topic.

Using

\usepackage[sort&compress]{natbib}

and \bibliographystyle{plain}

I get the notes field in my bibilography after all the important stuff which makes it look terrible: ISI Document Delivery
