Decision Guidance ⇒ Texmaker vs. TeXstudio
Texmaker vs. TeXstudio
I'm new in LaTeX, I have installed TeX Live in my Windows and I was wondering wich TeX editor will be the better option. I know that in most cases it's something subjective, but I would like to know your opinions. In my researches I have hear a lot of good things about Texmaker and TeXstudio, but I don't really understand the differences between them or why should I choose one before the other. I'm not searching something created for learners with less tools or things like that. I want to use LaTeX for my thesis and I want to use it from now on so I'm interested in learning how to use it. That is the reason why I would like to have a text editor that allows me to have access to all the tools that are available for LaTeX.
Thank you very much for your attention,
See you soon.

Texmaker vs. TeXstudio
You don't need any to learn how to use LaTeX.
The decision which one to use is more of a "look-and-feel"-type. See which one is more comfortable for you to use and stick to it.
