I use LyX 2.3.3 on Windows10. In preferences, Display Graphics is checked, instant preview is "on". But "Preview Size" doesn't seem to affect my graphics (they appear somewhat small to me). However, it does affect my displayed equations.
Any ideas?
Stef

display graphics in editor: preview size not working? (Win10)
In attachment a MWE: the Lyx file and the figure.
Screenshot1 shows the "standard" view on my screen, preview size = "1"
Screenshot2 shows that I change the preview size to "3"
Screenshot3 shows that (after a while) the size of the equation is changed, but the size of the picture isn't. The pictures I use are mostly .pdf or .svg, but with both file types same behaviour...
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Stef
(Sorry, for some reason I don't seem to be able to upload the file "picture1.pdf" or "picture1.svg)

display graphics in editor: preview size not working? (Win10)
I am not sure to get what you want to do. Do you want to change your display image file or equation ? If it is that for me in both case what you try to do wont work.
For the image file open the insertion box you have a display option, and for the equation change the size of the font. If no ex plane what you want to do.

display graphics in editor: preview size not working? (Win10)
I want all the images displayed bigger in the editor, but not the equations. I know I can set this for each image individually, but this is tedious. Moreover, the result of this workflow isn't great: the images are showed in very low resolution, so if I scale it for each image individually, the result isn't very usable to me.
I hoped that the "preview size" would arrange this for all my images at once, but it doesn't seem to work as explained before. (BTW: what is "preview size" supposed to do, if it doesn't change the preview size of the images?)
Most of my actual images are way to small in the editor, see attachment for an example.
Anyone an idea?
