General ⇒ Proper citation of the templates

I am using the "Declaration of Authorship" which is a chapter in this template: https://www.latextemplates.com/template ... ral-thesis. I searched for information on how to cite this chapter as it was not developed by me. Do I have to cite these templates or are they free?
