Hey,
I'm french and so I'm terrible at writing english, but I worked out something by reading mans and watching series.

I'm a total noob in latex and I hope I won't gross out anyone by a too naive, too general question :p

My main goal coming here is not really learning "hard latex". My actual main goal is waaaay lower than that. I just want to finish a template I would use to convert "markdown to PDF using a latex template" (I'm using pandoc). I think latex is great, but it's too much work for "my people". "My people", as I, may not be willing to invest 100h on latex ; but will learn markdown in a few seconds. So my plan is to save my relative a few hundred hours and to harness a bit of latex's power to make great looking documents !

More in my future question that brought me here

Hi,

welcome to the forum!

Do you know the markdown package? I use it to use markdown within LaTeX documents, while I hide my preamble via \input. So colleagues see 99% markdown and I still can compile it.

This may be interesting... But for now I found how to make the "big 99% of my needs" via pandoc and a template. But if I ever have extra time/interest in the matter, I'll have a direction to go to. Thanks you people . :)
