LYX crash - SIGFPE signal caught

Post by amirmit »

HI

I'm using LYX 2.3 version on Win.
When I try to save my document, I get an error popup: "LYX crashed! SIGSPF signal caught! Bye".

What can I do to fix this?

Thanks

LYX crash - SIGFPE signal caught

Welcome to the forum!

SIGFPE refers to a floating-point exception, so an arithmetic error. No clue yet why it happens in the moment of saving though.

Do you use the latest version 2.3.2, or still 2.3.0 or 2.3.1? You could upgrade. Some bugs related to crashes have been fixed in 2.3.2.

If you still see this bug with the latest version of LyX, please report it at https://www.lyx.org/trac
