General ⇒ Creating new fonts

Hi,

I need some fonts similar to the go ones.

So I modified them and using mf.exe I got gf-files.
I can correctly see the new fonts converting the gf-files to dvi by gftodvi, but I don't succeed to use them in a tex file. I use MikTex and I refreshed its FNDB.

According to mftut (by Christophe Grandsire) I should get tfm-files from mf.exe, but that's not my case!

EDIT: I got tfm, I was running mf in proof mode! But my test file is still using the original fonts and not the modified ones.

Where should I do?
