Hi, all,

I've been using Latex for a long time, but I'm new here. I mostly use it to write scientific papers, although I've also used Beamer now and then. I think I've got the basics right, but sometimes I find myself lost with some packages and macros, so average user, I guess. See you around!

Hi,

welcome to the forum!

Scientific papers and presentations, that's a common use. :-) I still use it for documentation in my engineering work, both for text and for drawings.
