Vertical justification/whitespace

Post by Elpoca »

Hello:

I have a document with many multi-line equations and 1.5 line spacing. The equations are causing large blocks of vertical whitespace following headings or between paragraphs. Is there any way to change this behaviour so that the whitespace occurs at the bottom of the pages? (I already know how to allow multi-line equations to break over pages, but I prefer to avoid this).

Thanks,
Elpoca

Hi Elpoca,

welcome to the board!
Try \raggedbottom in your preamble.
