separate references and general bibiliography

Post by wonko »

I'm using bibtex for my references, and was wandering if there exists any packages that allows me to use the remaining noncited sources in the .bib file to make a separate general bibliography list? I know I can use \nocite to include noncited sources in the reference list, but I need a separate list. It would be much more elegant to use data from the .bib file for this, rather writing a list manually.

Sorry if I double-posted, but is it really double posting when I posted in to completely separate forums, with (apparently not) completely separate forum users? I wasn't sure which one was the most active, so I thought I should test them both... Sorry again if I did something wrong, but I don't really see how I could have.

Edit:
Oooh.. I believe I just figured out what you meant: that I should have mentioned I also posted this in the other forum... Sorry my English is far from perfect...

So, here it goes: This post is also posted on cqf.info (as mentioned by gmedina.
